It’s FREE for a Romanian trademark availability search if you don’t need an opinion.
We charge approx. €150 for a Romanian trademark availability search with opinion in RO (OSIM, EUIPO and WIPO/RO).
We charge approx. €290 for a EU trademark availability search with opinion in (EUIPO, EU member states and WIPO/EM/EU Member States).

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO OBTAIN REGISTRATION OF A TRADEMARK IN ROMANIA?
Trademark registration procedure in Romania takes approx. 5-6 months and is done in 4 steps:
1. Filing (electronic filing is possible).
2. Publishing / Advertising (electronic).
3. Examination and registration within approx. 5-6 months from filing.
4. Certificate (printed original) in approx. 3 months after registration
Protection of a trademark in Romania is granted / renewed for 10 years.
